The UMassMed Cares employee charitable giving campaign runs through November 25th

Date Posted: Thursday, November 12, 2020

UMMCaresThe UMassMed Cares employee charitable giving campaign began Monday, November 2nd. UMassMed Cares, which replaces the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Employees Charitable Campaign (COMECC), allows you to direct your donations to causes close to your heart.

Donations can be made until Wednesday, Nov. 25. Contributors can support a variety of educational, research and public service endeavors.

Donations to North Quadrant Support Services, the longstanding partnership between UMass Medical School and the Worcester Public Schools, will help address some of the socioeconomic barriers to academic success faced by many local students.

Donations to the UMass Medical School Foundation can be directed to these funds:

  • COVID-19 Pandemic Research Fund
  • Diversity and Inclusion Fund
  • Medical School Research Fund
  • Student Financial Aid

In addition, participants may choose to donate to any of more than 1,000 pre-screened non-profits across the globe through the United Way of Central Massachusetts

Donations may be made via payroll deduction, credit card, cash or check at www.umassmedcares.org. Whatever the amount, each donation will support essential charitable work. Your contribution will make a difference in the lives of so many.

The brief video on this UMassMed Cares page shows how your donation improves lives and impacts communities.

Thank you!
