With a mission to advance our knowledge in Biophysics, Cell and Developmental Biology, Computational Biology, Chemical Biology, Developmental Biology, DNA/RNA and Epigenetics, Human Disease and Therapeutics, Neurobiology, Membrane Biology and Structural Biology, we strive to translate discoveries in basic science to clinical applications in our hospital.

Moving forward through continuous support and collaboration
Our department currently has more than 30 labs with over 200 postdoctoral fellows, research associates, graduate students and staff. Our faculty is constantly collaborating with other departments and research centers to advance our scientific knowledge. Companion programs in Chemical Biology, RNA Therapeutics, Stem Cell Biology and Gene Therapy portend new opportunities in translational research for our faculty and students.
