As the lead investigator of this study, I am a computational biologist with a strong background in mathematics and a passion for applying new technologies to the study of immune responses. My interest in biology began with the sequencing of the human genome and has since focused on identifying the molecular signatures associated with different immune states. Our analysis of skin samples from patients has led us to believe that there is a clear subclinical state that may precede the onset of symptoms. With your help, we can better understand the immune system's role in human health and disease and potentially develop new biomarkers for disease diagnosis and prognostication.
