Irina is a Romanian cardiologist with a strong cardiovascular research and clinical practice background. She brings a wealth of experience to the Tran Lab's cutting-edge research projects, focusing on advancing patient care and treatment methodologies. She is an enthusiastic team player with a proven ability to foster positive and collaborative relationships within the medical community and with our patients. Her commitment to continuous learning and improvement is also demonstrated by her curiosity and creativity, enhancing our team's desire "to think outside the box."

David Bunsick

Research Associate II, Tran and Donahue Labs

David is currently working as a Research Associate studying how MI and VT impact adipocyte formation in the heart. He hopes to use his scientific knowledge for intelligence purposes in the U.S. military. David completed his MSc at Queen’s University, studying Experimental Medicine.
