General considerations for setting up Centrifugation Experiments

It is important that the buffer you are using does not absorb at the wavelength being used and the absorbance should be checked against water at the desired wavelength.

Samples should be tested for aggregation prior to being run in the AUC. This can be done by spinning samples in a microfuge at high speed for 20 min and making sure there is no pellet (absorbance can be measured before and after spin).
