Faculty Lead: Catherine Ezzio, MD
Welcome to the Clinician Educator Elective (CEE) and Ward Star!! Both the CEE and Ward Star rotations are focused on teaching. The Ward Star elective takes the place of a service block for residents and incorporates more clinical wards support while continuing to encourage growth in medical education.
Goals:
  • Practice teaching skills through multiple different modalities, including morning report, chalk talks, online teaching, bedside teaching, "on-the-fly" teaching, procedural teaching, simulation, and medical education scholarship
  • Develop educational resources to enhance learning for students and residents
  • And, for Ward Star: Provide support to wards teams as needed while incorporating teaching
