Research Interests: Jennifer has a passion for caring for children and their families. She especially enjoys her role as an educator, working with children and families to understand complicated information in terms they can better understand. She also works to facilitate communication within the multi-disciplinary team assuring that families’ concerns and questions are heard.

Research Interests: She is currently an elected member of the Advanced Practice Council, a member of the Beacon Partnership Council, the Pediatric Bereavement Committee, and  helps with the annual Pediatric Remembrance Ceremony. Katherine is invested in research and holds the Nursing Responsible Investigator (RI) title for the Children’s Oncology (COG) group at UMass. She is currently working with COG on an evidenced based practice project on assessment and management of cytokine release syndrome.
