Eye Center Gathers to Say Farewell

The Eye Center team bid farewell to two valuable employees, Dr. Huan Mills and Anita Amin, during a staff luncheon on Tuesday, December 14. Staff gathered in social distance fashion on-site and on zoom to share personal sentiments of Anita and Dr. Mills and their many contributions to the Eye Center.

 Dr. Huan Mills, who joined the Eye Center in early 2020, quickly established herself as a trusted, capable and efficient cataract surgeon. She received great feedback from patients who always shared that she was an excellent doctor. She will be starting a private practice closer to home and will be sorely missed. Anita was the residency coordinator for the Ophthalmology Department from 2019 to 2021. During her time at the Eye Center, she championed recruiting efforts for the program that drew international resident applicants and she worked closely with faculty on educational programming for the residents. She’s not going far, having taken a position in the Undergraduate Medical Education office at UMass Chan Medical School.

 We appreciate Dr. Mills’ and Anita’s many contributions to the Eye Center and we wish them all the best in their future endeavors.
