Exciting News for Dr. Bonaldi

We would like to congratulate Dr. Bonaldi for attaining her Fellowship with the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO). To qualify for fellowship, individuals are evaluated against the highest standards of professional competence. The FAAO letters after one’s name signifies the doctor or researcher has met the rigorous qualifications for fellowship. Dr. Bonaldi is proud and excited to join the Academy of Optometry as fellow, and with her colleagues, inspire excellent in eyecare and strive to continue advancing the profession clinically and with research.

Dr. Bonaldi joined the UMass Eye Team in 2019. She graduated cum laude from Montclair State University with a BA in Biology and obtained her OD graduating as salutatorian and Summa Cum Laude from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She completed internships at the prestigious Boston Sight, various health centers in New England, and at the Worcester Department of Veterans Affairs. Dr. Bonaldi then went on to complete an ocular disease residency at the Boston Department of Veterans Affairs.
