Dr. Kassira joins the Eye Team at UMASS Memorial Medical Center

Firas Kassira, OD, graduated from George Mason University with a BS in biology and obtained his OD degree from the New England College of Optometry with clinical honors.

His external rotations included the 34th General Army Hospital in Augsburg, Germany, Dorchester House Community Eye Clinic, Capital Eye Consultants Surgical Clinic, and Boston Optometric Clinic. He’s been practicing in Central Massachusetts for several years in both ophthalmology and optometry private practice. Dr. Kassira is happy to have joined the UMass Memorial eye team and is looking forward to providing comprehensive eye exams and contact lens fittings for our patients.
