Eye Team Designs the Dream Eye Center
Date Posted: Friday, February 21, 2020Eye team members, front desk people, technicians, physicians, optometrists, researchers, marketing people, space design people, students, residents, administrators and patients came together to brainstorm and design the Dream Eye Center.
Dr. Shlomit Schaal, department Chair said: “we provide eye care to our patients in 3 locations, and in every location we are limited by the current space that was allocated to us. Now we have the rare opportunity to design a brand new eye center that will be focused on our patients”.
Olivia Lukomski from CITC facilitated the brainstorming session. Four diverse groups each came up with a different design with certain things in common.
Rene Mikitarian-Bradley who is the main person responsible for the final design of the new Eye Center was present and took notes.
