UMass Eye Center Participates in Teddy Bear Clinic

The UMass Memorial Eye Center was proud to participate in this year's Teddy Bear Clinic at the University Campus on September 29, 2018. Justine Grier, OD, Manisha Anand, and Nishtha Khanna welcomed hundreds of pediatric patients and their plush friends to the Ophthalmology table, where they received a coloring book about eye care and lens cloths to clean their glasses or sunglasses. Children were offered visual acuity screenings, while countless bears, dolls, and other stuffed pals were evaluated by Dr. Grier via retinoscopy.
