The Eye Center Says Farewell To Dr. Hinkle
Date Posted: Tuesday, March 06, 2018David Hinkle, MD, served 3.5 years at UMass Eye Center. Dr. Hinkle was the Ambulatory Physician Leader for the Eye Clinic, and was the busiest clinician on faculty. He was recently promoted to become an Associate Professor and the Director of the Retina Service at the Eye Center. Dr. Hinkle is leaving Massachusetts to be closer to his family in West Virginia.
The Eye Team expressed their gratitude for his service. Dr. Schaal, Chair of the department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences at UMass said: “I would like to sincerely thank you, David, for your excellent service and dedication to our department.
You have been knowledgeable, dependable, reliable, honest, thoughtful, and truly a pleasure to work with. We shall certainly miss you here at the Eye Center. I will personally miss discussing complex cases with you as my retina colleague. Wherever you are, please know that you have friends here at UMass. You will always be part of our Eye Team”.
