The Eye Center celebrated its second Green Belt Innovation Celebration at the Hahnemann Campus

UMass Memorial Healthcare employees again celebrated people and teams working toward True North at the Hahnemann campus. Co-lead by Dr. Schaal and Dr. Luna, The Eye Center presented the Lean Green Belt project "Efficiency improvement of turnover time in the operating room".

The improved efficiency in the operating room is part of the transformation of the Eye Center to decrease turnover times, leading to more patients able to receive care and fewer delays in treatment.

The success of this project is attributed to the many team members involved: physicians, nurses, technicians, and operating room staff at Hahnemann Campus.
