First "Eye to Eye" symposium held at the Eye Center

Faculty members of the Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences met with the faculty members of the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) to discuss advances and innovations in eye care. This was the first "Eye to Eye" symposium to be held in the state of Massachusetts. The symposium provides a unique academic opportunity for ophthalmologists and optometrists to meet and discuss collaboration in patient care.

Dr. Schaal, chair of the Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences said: "we are united in our dedication to excellent eye care, we share the passion of teaching the next generation of eye care providers". The symposium is held quarterly at the eye center, and is open to ophthalmologists, optometrists, residents, and students.
