Eye Center Introduces new Open Access Clinic
Date Posted: Saturday, January 07, 2017Shlomit Schaal, MD, PhD, Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences, announces the launch of a new Open Access Clinic for patients needing timely access to an experienced, high quality ophthalmologist.
Dr. Schaal and her team have opened up Wednesday mornings from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the Eye Center at Hahnemann Campus (281 Lincoln Street, 3rd floor) to see patients who need to be seen by an eye care specialist and do not have an appointment. The open access day and times are subject to change. It is best to call the clinic to Inquire about days and times open access is offered.
The goal is to use the Open Access Clinic as an opportunity to bring back patients who have missed their scheduled appointments. This new clinic presents an opportunity for patients to be seen in a timely manner.
Please note: Patients arriving to the Open Access Clinic are seen on a first come first serve basis. So, wait times may vary to see a physician.
