Written for comprehensive ophthalmologists and vitreoretinal surgeons, this book discusses state-of-the-art medical and surgical management of cystoid macular edema (CME). CME is one of the most common blinding conditions, because it is the common final result of several eye diseases, including diabetic retinopathy, age related macular degeneration, inflammatory eye conditions, and vascular occlusions.
The book discusses and explains the current understanding of the pathophysiology of the condition and methods of diagnosis. Drs.
