Volunteer Initiative
“Everybody can be great. Because anybody can serve.”
UMass Chan Cares volunteer time off initiative supports those in the UMass Chan community who have the capacity and desire to serve the broader community through volunteer efforts. With prior approval, eligible employees can participate in up 16 hours per year of volunteer service during regular business or training hours with no loss of salary/stipend or benefits in accordance with the school’s Volunteer Time Policy.
