Seven Hills Symphony fall concert ‘Music Knows No Bounds’ to feature Young Artist Concerto Competition winner

The Seven Hills Symphony Orchestra’s concert Music Knows No Bounds on Friday, Nov. 22, will feature the winner of the 2019 Young Artists Concerto Competition, Julia Zhou.

The concert will include performances of music by Kalinikov, Tchaikavsky, Hylkila, Buchanan and Holst. They will also be presenting Movement I of the Mozart Piano Concerto, with soloist Zhou.

The concert takes place at UMass Medical School on Friday, Nov. 22, at 7:30 p.m. in the Faculty Conference Room of the main Medical School building.

Seven Hills is dedicated to providing performance opportunities to amateur, student and professional musicians throughout Central Massachusetts and Northeastern Connecticut as well as access to high quality, low cost symphonic music for members of those same communities. It also promotes music appreciation through outreach programs, including the annual concerto competition.
