The next Neuroscience of Disease Forum will take place on Monday, Oct. 15, from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., in the Faculty Conference Room at UMass Medical School. Dr. Schaal will speak about the clinical perspective and Dr. Punzo will address the underlying cause of blindness in retinitis pigmentosa.

The Department of Neurology, the Department of Neurobiology and the NeuroNexus Institute are sponsoring the forum, intended to be a conversation with patients, clinicians and basic scientists. The forum is open to faculty, graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, clinicians, patients and medical students and staff, but registration is required.
