Farmers Market returns to Worcester campus

On Tuesday, June 9, a welcome summer tradition returns to the UMass Medical School Worcester campus—the annual farmers market. Every Tuesday through October, from noon to 5 p.m., familiar vendors will set up near the campus green to sell their goods, including fruit, vegetables, honey, meat, bread and more. There will be some new merchants this year as well.

Returning merchants include:

      • Bee My Honey—honey and honey products such as lip balm and soap, along with jams, pickles, and salsa made by Town Farm Gardens
      • Breezy Gardens—mixed vegetables
      • Al Canali—shiitake mushrooms (beginning in July)
      • Crystal Clear Emotions—jewelry
      • Fior D'italia—ravioli and other pasta
      • Great Harvest Bread Company (aka “the Bread Lady”)—breads, cookies, scones
      • M & G Kettle Korn—crepes and non-GMO kettle corn
      • Nicewicz Family Farm—fruit and select vegetables (beginning in July)
      • On the Rise Bakery—pastries and other baked goods
      • Peterman's Bowls and Boards—artisan bowls and cutting boards (second Tuesday of the month)
      • Pranaveda Farm (John White formerly of Farmacy Gardens)—mixed vegetables
      • WooBerry—frozen yogurt

New merchants include:

      • Shamrock Hives Farm—meat and eggs
      • Sunny Knoll Alpaca Farm—handmade product line made from Alpaca wool (biweekly starting June 16)
