Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship
UMass Memorial Health Care's Neonatal-Perinatal Unit (Level III) is the obstetric, pediatric, family practice, and emergency room resident training/teaching unit for the University of Massachusetts Programs in Obstetrics/Gynecology, Pediatrics, Family Practice, and Emergency Medicine which are accredited core programs.
The Neonatal Fellowship is supervised by the Director, Francis J. Bednarek, MD (Chief of Neonatology) and based at UMass Memorial Health Care which is the tertiary center for Region II designated by the State of Massachusetts for high-risk neonates and pregnancies. The fellowship is offered to either USA/foreign medical graduates who have completed an approved three year pediatric residency or met ACGME approved standards. The fellowship is for 36 months.
