Excellence in Medical Education Awards

All short communication abstract submissions will be considered for an Excellence in Medical Education Award. A maximum of four Excellence in Medical Education Awards will be given, one in each of the following categories:

• UGME (Pre-Clerkship)
• UGME (Clerkship)
• GME
• CME

Finalists for the Excellence in Medical Education Awards will be determined via abstract reviews. Top short communications in each category will be rated by current and former NEGEA Steering Committee members as they are presented at the NEGEA 2015 Annual Retreat.

Best Poster Award

All abstract submissions for posters will be considered for the Best Poster Award. Finalists for this award will be determined via abstract reviews and notified prior to the meeting to ensure that they are present during the designated time for poster judging at the NEGEA 2015 Annual Retreat. Finalists will be rated onsite during the poster viewing session on Friday, April 17 by current and former NEGEA Steering Committee members, along with student attendees who choose to participate.
