The Angela and Harry Brodie and V. Craig Jordan Lecture in Cancer Drug Discovery
This annual lecture, focused on translational cancer drug discovery, is supported by an endowment established in 2022 by V. Craig Jordan, the "father of tamoxifen," in honor of Angela and Harry Brodie. In the 1970s, Jordan and the Brodies worked together at the Worcester Foundation, where the Brodies developed selective aromatase inhibitors — a discovery that Angela Brodie subsequently pioneered as a transformative new approach to breast cancer treatment.
This year's lecturer will be William Sellers, MD, Core Institute Member and Director of the Cancer Program at the Broad Institute, and Professor of Medicine at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School.
When: Tuesday, December 1, 2026 from 11 AM - 12 PM
Where: DiMare Center (NERB) N1-1500
