Eye Team says Farewell to Darlene Bocash-Winn

Darlene Bocash-Winn, Eye Center clinic manager completed 3 years of productive service at the Eye Center. Under her leadership, the Eye Team was named “Sweet 16”, three years in a row as one of the top functioning innovative team in the UMass Memorial Healthcare system. Eye Team won Innovators of the Year Award twice, in 2017 and in 2019.

Shlomit Schaal, MD, PhD, and department chair, said: “we thank you for your excellent work and dedication during the past 3 years. Thank you for having a sharp eye, a listening ear, and a devoted heart. We shall miss you.”

Diamond Parilla, ASR lead, said: “thank you, Darlene, for teaching me how to focus on the important and to let go of the unimportant”.

Sherri Granger, Tech lead, said: “I have learned so much from you over the years. We have learned, progressed and will keep advancing our knowledge”.
