Dr. Christopher Teng’s “Walk Through Glaucoma Park” Vision Seminar Captures the Audience

Christopher Teng MD, Associate Professor of Ophthalmology and Visual Science at Yale University School of Medicine and the Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs and Director of the Glaucoma Service and Glaucoma Fellowship was our Vision Seminar’s first speaker in 2020.

Dr. Teng specializes in medical and surgical glaucoma, as well as in cataracts and complex anterior segment situations. The talk summarized recent advances in glaucoma management, including microinvastive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) that features new technologies such as iStent, Trabectome, endocyclophotocoagulation, Gonioscopy Assisted Transluminal Trabeculotomy, etc.

Dr. Teng shared with the audience his dedication to resident and fellow education, as well as his passion to International Ophthalmology, having traveled to Nepal and India for humanitarian trips. In an emotionally moving video, Dr. Teng demonstrated how involvement in global ophthalmology endeavors can change lives.
