Program Highlights

We aim to find the nation’s strongest medical residents and transform them into tomorrow’s leaders in academic and clinical cardiology. Some of the highlights of the fellowship program include:

  • State-of-the-art facilities
  • High procedural volume
  • Echocardiography and nuclear cardiology training that easily satisfies the requirements for certification by the National Board of Echocardiography (NBE) and Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology (CBNC)
  • Advanced heart failure including implantable VADs and heart transplantation (the latter during a rotation at Tufts Medical Center)
  • Experience in advanced imaging (MRI/CT)
  • Ambulatory experience including in specialty clinics such as adult congenital, pregnancy, and pulmonary hypertension
  • Dedicated training in vascular medicine
  • Diverse research opportunities 
  • Supportive, collegial faculty and fellows
