About Us
Established in 2022, H.E.A.R.R.T. is a research team from the department of Population and Quantitative Health Sciences at UMass Chan Medical School. Our research focuses on:
- Health disparities
- Health Equity
- Aging
- Stress & Aging
- Cognitive Aging
- Cardiovascular diseases
- Storytelling as a behavioral intervention
Our team is composed of two research coordinators in charge of building up design, development, and documentation of data forms, questionnaires, and other survey materials for different studies. In addition, a postdoctoral researcher and two doctoral student researchers conduct extensive analytical work on the data collected in our different studies.
