Meet Our Fellows 2026-2027

Sarah Johnson, PsyD
Fellow in the Fitchburg Family Medicine Residency
Sara Johnson is a first-year Behavioral Health Fellow at Fitchburg Family Practice. Sara earned her BS in Psychological Science from Missouri S&T, MS in Clinical Psychology from Missouri State University, and PsyD in Counseling Psychology from Radford University. Her doctoral clinical and research training emphasized culturally informed, evidence-based practice in rural areas. Her qualitative dissertation focused on understanding how mental health clinicians in Appalachia address their clients'/patients' important religious beliefs in therapy. Sara recently completed her predoctoral internship at the University of Kansas Medical Center, with rotations in rural primary care, psychosocial oncology, child/adolescent and adult inpatient psychiatry, and addiction psychiatry. Her clinical and professional interests include integrated behavioral health, acceptance and commitment therapy, equity in the healthcare system, social justice, religion and spirituality, and rurality. Sara aims to help her patients build values-aligned, meaningful lives, even in the presence of pain and challenges. 

Elleanor Deveaux, PsyD
Fellow in the Worcester Family Medicine Residency
Eleanor Deveaux is a first-year Behavioral Health Fellow at the Barre Family Health Center. Eleanor completed her MA and PsyD in Clinical Psychology from William James College with a major area of study in Children and Families. Eleanor has provided care across a variety of healthcare settings including an outpatient academic medical center, outpatient clinic, and family medicine practice. She completed her predoctoral internship at Primary Care Psychology Associates in Chicago, Illinois. Eleanor's clinical interests include integrative behavioral medicine, LGBTQIA+ issues, and chronic pain management.
