Research Focus - Erythroid Biology and its Dysregulation in Cancer

Investigating the biology of early hematopoiesis and erythropoiesis in order to understand its dysregulation in cancer and to identify potential therapeutic avenues
Uncovering novel regulators of early erythroid progenitors, which might lead to new treatments for anemia
Identifying pathways that enhance erythropoiesis by manipulating the cell cycle, which may also lead to novel anemia treatments
