Soutter Washburn Fellows

Soutter Washburn Fellows are named in honor of Lamar Soutter, who led the establishment of UMass Chan Medical School and served as its first dean, and Ichabod Washburn, who, in the 1880s, endowed the Memorial Hospital in Worcester. UMass Chan Medical School and UMass Memorial Health Care are proud to honor these respected individuals and organizations whose generosity is helping to accelerate advancements to improve care and ultimately cure diseases.
