Research


Overview:

The Donahue lab, along with collaborators, invented cardiac arrhythmia gene therapy. We created clinically relevant, preclinical test models of atrial fibrillation and post-infarction ventricular tachycardia.  With these models, we have identified novel disease mechanisms and developed arrhythmia gene therapies that are making their way through preclinical and starting clinical testing.
