Independence and Safeguards

The assessment is structured to protect the independence of the findings, the integrity of the scenario package, the confidentiality of applicant information, and the separation of educational content from commercial influence.

Independent Evaluation

• Assessment fees are not contingent on favorable findings.
• The assessment team defines and applies the evaluation methods independently.
• Clinical scenarios, expected-response guides, and scoring criteria are locked before system outputs are reviewed.
• The applicant provides intended-use information, system access, and factual corrections, but does not control ratings or conclusions.
• The Clinical Director retains authority over clinical interpretation and final clinical conclusions.

Financial Relationships and Conflicts

Individuals who control assessment content or conclusions are expected to disclose relevant financial relationships and other potential conflicts. Relevant conflicts are reviewed and managed through documented measures, which may include recusal, reassignment, additional review, or other safeguards.

Commercial Influence

The evaluation considers whether learner-facing outputs contain promotional language, unsupported product preference, inappropriate brand emphasis, or recommendations that may have been influenced by commercial interests. Applicants are expected to disclose funding, sponsorship, advertising, and commercial relationships relevant to the activity or its content.

Confidentiality and Security

• Applicant materials and assessment records are limited to authorized personnel.
• Scenario packages and expected-response guides are access-controlled to protect the integrity of future assessments.
• Applicant materials and outputs are not used to train external AI systems without explicit authorization.
• Outputs and assessment records are retained according to the applicable agreement and institutional requirements.
• Reports are treated as confidential unless disclosure is authorized or required by an applicable agreement or law.

Clinical Escalation

The Clinical Director may pause the assessment when a significant safety concern, unresolved configuration issue, or threat to assessment integrity is identified. Findings of immediate safety significance may be communicated promptly through the designated project contacts before the final report is completed.
