We require 1 business day notice to cancel an LSR II experiment and sorting appointments, so that we may offer that time to other investigators.
In extenuating circumstances please contact Core directly.

Cancellations with less than 1 business day  will incur a fee based on the amount of time that the appointment would have taken. Sorting or analysis by facility operators performed beyond normal business hours (past 5 PM or on weekends) will incur a 25% surcharge.

Sorting (BSL2 and BSL3) and complex multicolor LSR II experiments should be scheduled at least one to two weeks in advance.

Screened, live, unfixed human or non-human primate specimens can be sorted in the Core facility with UMMS approved screening information.

Sorting or analysis of unscreened human, non-human primate or BSL3 samples can now be run in our BSL3 cell sorting facility.

Any potentially infectious samples for sorting must be discussed with the Director in advance.
