UMass Chan Medical School thanks ALS Angel Fund for deep support

UMass Chan Medical School hosted representatives of the ALS Angel Fund on Wednesday, June 13, to say thank you for raising more than $15 million for research into amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Joining Chancellor Michael F. Collins were: (left to right), Catherine Nigro, ALS Angel Fund Board member; Eugene Nigro, ALS Angel Fund founding director; Mike Timlin, former Red Sox pitcher, whose Sharon Timlin Memorial 5K Race and Family Fun Day to Cure ALS is Saturday, June 16 in Hopkinton; Chancellor Collins; renowned ALS researcher Robert Brown, UMass Chan Medical School; Abbie Rosenberg, Timlin race director; Rich Kennedy, ALS Angel Fund president; and Charlie Storey, president of Harpoon Brewery.
