Welcome to the UMass Chan Prevention Research Center. We are proud to be a member of the Prevention Research Center (PRC) network funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Since 2009, our PRC has worked to improve the health of residents of central Massachusetts by partnering with public health agencies and community organizations to conduct applied research and inform evidence-based practice through training and technical assistance. We look forward to continuing this collaborative work to promote healthy lifestyles through increased opportunities for physical activity, healthy eating and healthy weight.
