Continuity Clinic/Primary Care
Welcome to your continuity clinic and primary care block! Dr. Anna Bottar and Maxine Shmeidler are your go-to people for any questions and concerns. Dr. Nisha Fahey is available to help with free clinic questions. Essentials you will need:
- The 2024-2025 Intern Handbook, containing all the necessary basics
- Free Clinics are newly incorporated into this block as of July 2025!! Here are the Goals and Objectives and the Scheduling File (you will need to add yourself here)
- A copy of the Primary Care Passport (you'll get a laminated copy, too.)
- Interns: Don't forget to prepare for the December Our Town Dinner, too!

There are 2 online curriculums to supplement your clinical experiences. Expectations regarding these curricula are to:
- The Johns Hopkins online curriculum!
- See this google doc to plan which modules you should aim to complete each year and when within your rotation schedule
- Quick note! Some topics are recommended for completion during your Adolescent block
- During your block month, you should also complete the “Keystones of Development” Curriculum. Go to the site to set up your access.

Additionally, consider doing this 1-2 hour online module created for UMass Family Medicine residents titled "Addressing Food Insecurity in the Clinical Setting"
