National Night Curriculum

What it is: A national group of pediatricians created and studied a series of powerpoints, aimed to help boost education/learning time when the country adjusted to day/night shifts for resident scheduling. This is a series of powerpoints that is case based and has questions to keep you interested. They are short, to the point, and great learning.

Ideal Audience: All years of residents, ideally done as a group with a senior and an intern to promote discussion.

Why it is great: Case based, high yield topics.

How to access it: This residency has created a fun page where the powerpoints are easy to open and view: https://www.pedsresidency.uic.edu/night-curriculum

How much time to budget for this: Each topic takes about 30 min

Other thoughts/comments/advice: Best done in pairs or a group, with senior residents leading discussion. Be sure to read the comments below the slides.
