Lawrence Recht MD

Dr. Recht is a board-certified neurologist and neuro-oncologist at Stanford Hospital and Clinics.  He received his MD from Columbia and completed his residency in Neurology at the Neurological Institute of New York, with a neuro-oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.  Most importantly (we feel), Dr. Recht then joined the faculty at UMass where he served for nearly 20 years, becoming a Professor and the Associate Director of the UMMC cancer center.  Among his research interests include funded efforts to develop immunotherapies for the treatment of brain cancers.  We are delighted to host Dr. Recht for his keynote address, titled: Fine Tuning Glioma Therapy
