Stephen Miller, PhD

Research Focus: The Miller Lab develops optical imaging probes, ranging from the design of new fluorescent molecules to engineered luciferins and luciferases for in vivo bioluminescence imaging. 

Scientific Training:  Stephen Miller received his Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry at UCSF working in the lab of Dr. Thomas S. Scanlan. He was a Jane Coffin Childs postdoctoral fellow with Dr. Timothy J. Mitchison at Harvard Medical School in the Department of Cell Biology and the Institute of Chemistry and Cell Biology.
