Curriculum: Learn the essentials of drug development

This program prepares junior scientists for careers in industry.  Postdocs may apply to enter the Fast Track to Pharma (FTP) Program, which combines classroom learning with hands-on drug development. Postdocs completing the program will receive a FTP certificate attesting their in-depth conceptual understanding of the drug development process, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals business fundamentals, and their direct work experience in drug development.

The one-year curriculum will include lectures and workshops open to all UMass Chan students, postdocs and faculty. By year-end, participants will know how the Pharma industry works from the inside out, be comfortable with standard business jargon and concepts, and be well-prepared for a career in Pharma.
