Vote in the Worcester Youth Contest for COVID-19 Videos and Memes

Date Posted: viernes, agosto 27, 2021

Welcome to the Worcester Youth COVID-19 Vaccine Video/Meme Contest!

The UMass Chan Prevention Research Center is partnering with the City of Worcester and youth-serving agencies to empower youth to share their voices to promote confidence and uptake in the COVID-19 vaccines among youth and families. Let’s protect our family, schools, and community together!

We are holding the Worcester Youth COVID-19 Vaccine Video/Meme Contest and invite you to vote for your favorite video and your favorite meme.

The goal of this contest is to teach youth about COVID-19 and the vaccines, while also empowering youth to actively think and create their own vaccine confidence messages to share with our community. We hope that during this process, youth were able to address questions, concerns, reasons behind vaccination hesitancy, misinformation, and simply learn more about the COVID-19 vaccines.

Youth have worked so hard to create amazing videos and memes to share with the community!

As a first form of judging, community leaders and youth influencers from the City of Worcester will review each entry and give their scores.

The public is a second form of judging. We invite you to vote! Click here to see all of the contest entries and vote!

Anyone is allowed to vote by Friday, September 3rd, 2021.

Winners will be announced on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at 4pm via the UMass Chan Prevention Research Center's social media platforms:

  • Twitter - @UMWPRC
  • Instagram - @UMassWPRC
  • Facebook - @UMassWorcesterPRC

We are so impressed by the creativity of the youth and are sure you will be, too!
