Center for Scientific Computing & Visualization Research
The Center for Scientific Computing and Visualization Research at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth focuses on computationally-driven research that addresses the pressing needs of modern engineering, mechanics, fluid dynamics, and electromagnetics.

Center for Clinical and Translational Science
In 2010, the UMass Chan Medical School received a $20 million Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to create an academic home for clinical and translational science across all five UMass campuses (Amherst, Boston, Dartmouth, Lowell, and Worcester). This award placed UMass and the medical school's clinical partner, UMass Memorial Health Care, among a consortium of 60 nationally prominent academic medical centers working to move laboratory discoveries into treatments for patients, to engage communities in clinical research, and to train a new generation of researchers.

Center for Applied Nutrition
The Center's mission is to help empower individuals to make healthy food choices so that they can enjoy the highest quality of life. The Center for Applied Nutrition specializes in dietary interventions for diabetes, cardiovascular disease, metabolic syndrome, cancer, obesity, and gastrointestinal diseases. Through studies, individual counseling, or classes, we teach individuals successful ways to make healthy dietary changes into long-term lifestyle changes to prevent and treat chronic diseases and conditions.

MassBiologics
MassBiologics' mission is to discover and develop products that will significantly improve public health.  This includes products for smaller patient populations due to limited incidence of disease (orphan products), uncertain markets as new challenges to public health arise, or products for developing nations with limited resources and unique needs.

Biomedical Informatics
Biomedical informatics at UMass Chan Medical School (UMass Chan) provides support for the conduct, administration, analysis, and dissemination of clinical and translational research from bench to clinic to populations.

Proteomics and Mass Spectrometry
The UMass Chan Medical School Proteomics and Mass Spectrometry Facility is a core resource offering state-of-the-art proteomic and small molecule mass spectrometric analyses to UMass Chan investigators and to the external scientific community at large. Resources include support for study design, sample preparation, sample fractionation, instrumentation, informatics, data interpretation, and publication assistance.

UMass Research Cores and Facilities
The availability of robust, affordable core services accelerates the pace of research across the entire translational spectrum.

Advanced Therapeutics Cluster
The mission of the ATC is to apply the knowledge flowing from the latest biomedical discoveries to develop new ways to treat disease and then drive those therapies into clinical trials.

Clinical Research Center
Clinical Trials Unit is dedicated to efficient, reliable and high-quality study support for UMass clinical investigators.
