Selection process
Programs will not discriminate based on race, gender, religion, age, national origin, sexual preference, disability, or veteran status. Programs will select fellows from the eligible applicant pool based on academic credentials, communication skills and personal qualities, such as integrity and motivation.
Applicants are screened by members of the Division of Hematology-Oncology and select candidates will be invited for interviews. The program director, division chief, and/or faculty members interview each applicant. Files are presented, reviewed, and ranked by the program director and reviewed by the Hematology-Oncology Division. The rank list is then submitted to NRMP.
