Education Grand Rounds

The HEALL Education Grand Rounds series offers quarterly presentations delivered by distinguished leaders from UMass Chan addressing significant topics in healthcare education. The initiative is designed to foster educational leadership through in-depth discussions on instruction, curriculum development, innovation, scholarship, and leadership, all aligned with the academy's annual theme.

This series facilitates dialogue regarding best practices and emerging trends in healthcare education, with each year's programming focused on a central theme and its practical implications for both educational settings and the broader healthcare landscape.

Continuing our theme of finding joy in education, we invite you to join our Education Grand Rounds, where we will focus on the joy of feedback through assessing progress in pathways. During this engaging session, Patricia Seymour, MD, Clinical Assistant Dean for Early and Advanced Clinical Curricula at the T.H. Chan School of Medicine, and Anthony Imbalzano, PhD, Associate Dean for Postdoctoral Scholars and Academic Affairs at the Morningside Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, will share their insights on how our models of assessing readiness for progression can create opportunities for clarity and even accelerated pathways.
