Education Day 2026, Call for Workshop Proposals
Event Theme: Building Community and Promoting Excellence

The Education Day 2026 planning committee invites proposals for interactive, skill‑building workshops that align with the conference theme, Building Community and Promoting Excellence, and the HEALL mission to advance leadership, learning, and educational innovation across the health professions.
Workshops should be highly engaging, designed to build concrete, transferable skills, and structured to foster collaboration, reflection, and the development of leadership capacities within educational communities.
Workshop Focus
We encourage workshops that:
- Provide hands-on, experiential learning
- Promote collaboration, connection, and community-building
- Develop skills related to leadership, teaching, learning, assessment, curriculum design, coaching, or faculty development
- Support excellence across the continuum of health professions education
- Reflect HEALL’s emphasis on leadership growth, learning science, and evidence‑informed practice
Workshops should avoid lecture-heavy formats in favor of active learning, peer engagement, and practical application.
Review Criteria
Proposals will be evaluated based on:
- Clarity and coherence of Background and workshop purpose
- Alignment with the conference theme and HEALL focus
- Quality and relevance of learning objectives
- Degree of participant engagement
- Feasibility and clarity of the timeline
- Potential for skill development, leadership growth, and community-building
