The thriving life sciences industry in Massachusetts is hailed as a national model, but declining funds for basic research is jeopardizing that success, Chancellor Michael F. Collins told lawmakers at the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council (MassBio) caucus at the State House.
This office serves as the medical school's point of contact for interaction with public officials. The office also monitors and responds to legislative issues that impact the medical school as well as serve as a resource for the medical school community on governmental issues.
