Child and Adolescent Clinical Services
Our commitment to young people
We believe that young people should live well and thrive. That’s why we focus our energy and expertise on children and adolescents – on their overall wellbeing and the healthy, natural development of their minds and bodies.
We also understand that growing up is never easy, and children, adolescents and their families in some circumstances need professional support along the way.
We provide a system of care that is committed to the young people who struggle with psychiatric conditions amid the myriad challenges of transitioning toward adulthood. Working together with youth and their families, we are providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services to improve and transform lives. And in the process we’re helping to inform and shape mental health policy – drawing from the Department of Psychiatry’s leading research, extensive education and training programs, and its broad community involvement.
Our dedicated clinicians evaluate young people and offer a variety of evidence-based interventions across a full array of conditions, including:
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
- Autism and other developmental disabilities with behavioral features
- Psychotic Disorders
- Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
We also offer child psychiatric consultations for primary care providers and youth with medical conditions, among other services.
