PRACCTIS (Post-Doctoral Training in Implementation Science in the Prevention and Control of Cancer)
PRACCTIS (Post-Doctoral Training in Implementation Science in the Prevention and Control of Cancer) is a full-time NCI-funded post-doctoral fellowship training program designed to provide the next generation of cancer prevention and control researchers with the knowledge and skill sets to eliminate gaps in the translation of research to practice along the cancer continuum. Clinical & Population Health Research PhD Program
UMass Chan PRC Faculty are also faculty members of UMass Chan Medical School’s Clinical & Population Health Research PhD program. Faculty are currently mentoring several students enrolled in this program. Full-time graduate students receive a full tuition waiver and stipend.
Preventive Medicine Residency
UMass Chan PRC partners with the UMass Chan Medical School’s Preventive Medicine Residency, located in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health. Undergraduate Summer Internship Program
UMass Chan PRC welcomes undergraduate students to work on various parts of our work. As an example of a recent collaboration, a Psychology Major from Fitchburg State University joined our Healthy Kids & Families project for real-world experience in an applied research project in Worcester. Students have also worked on projects associated with the Health Geography and Statistics Lab. High School Interns
UMass Chan PRC has created an internship opportunity for a high school girl participating in the Eureka!® Program of Girls Incorporated of Worcester. Eureka!® is a five-year program for girls entering 8th grade that prepares girls for college and careers, with a special focus on STEM.
Training on Research Methods
