​The Lupus Center at UMass Chan offers the opportunity to participate in cutting-edge research and clinical trials. At UMass Chan Medical School, world renowned basic and translational scientists work on elucidating the pathologic pathways that lead to lupus and help guide future diagnostic and management approaches.

The Lupus Center is a LuCIN (Lupus Clinical Investigators Network) site, LuCIN is an academic-based clinical trials network comprised of some of the most prestigious medical research centers and experienced lupus physician-scientists throughout North America.

The Lupus Center has been selected to be one of the few sites in the US to participate in the largest assembled biorepository that will provide the future generations of lupus investigators with the most comprehensive datasets and specimens. This biorepository will help accelerate tremendously the rate of discovery in lupus and get us better treatments.
